Human Resources Generalist
Work Location
This role will be based out of our Home Office located in St. George, Ontario. Travel will be required (USA & Canada) from time to time to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

Work Schedule
During the Summer period (June – August) this role will work a schedule that mirrors the on-site Camp operating schedule.
What would you be doing?
- Provide human resources support to our camp- based employees and other departments as assigned. Support provided according to established escalation procedures.
- For assigned roles, partner with hiring leaders to execute the full cycle recruitment and selection as per THFC procedures.
- Complete assigned tasks related to the annual sourcing plan for seasonal hires.
- Administer workers compensation claims for assigned Employee groups.
- Support aspects of the THFC Health and Safety program as assigned.
- Administer and analyze the results of the annual seasonal employee engagement survey. Support with the creation and implementation of activities targeting engagement and retention amongst the camp-based teams.
- As assigned, enter, and maintain employee information in HR tracking systems and always ensure the integrity of confidential data.
Does this sound like you?
- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in human resources or equivalent experience, CHRP designation preferred.
- Strong French language abilities (verbal and written).
- Minimum 3 years of broad HR generalist experience (including but not limited to employee relations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, health, and safety).
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail in managing work, competing deadlines, and sensitive projects.
- Resourceful team-player with an ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality, sound judgment and sensitivity in dealing with internal and external communities.
- Broad experience in policy and legislation interpretation, customer service, and problem solving.
- Proficient with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Power Point and Excel and HRIS systems.
- Able to maintain a valid passport and be available for the required travel associated with the role.
- Payroll knowledge / experience an asset.
