Whats the role about?
We're on the lookout for an HR Generalist who's ready to jump in and join our dynamic team. Were thinking of someone whos not just experienced in the HR realm, but also genuinely passionate about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and included. You'll be our go-to person for recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and a whole lot more.
Heres what youd be up to:
- Employee Relations: Youll be the friendly face handling employee questions and concerns, making sure our workplace is as positive and inclusive as it can be. Plus, you'll help sort out any workplace issues, ensuring everyone's on the same page, no matter where theyre located.
- Payroll and Benefits: Youll oversee our payroll cycles, ensuring everything runs smoothly and everyones happy. You'll also be in charge of employee benefits, navigating different regulations and helping our team understand their options.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Keeping up-to-date with HR laws and regulations will be key. You'll help us stay on track and compliant, while also developing and tweaking our HR policies to fit our diverse team.
- Performance and Development: You'll support our performance management processes globally, from setting goals to performance reviews and development plans. Youll also work closely with our managers to address any performance issues and boost development across various areas.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Youll manage the full recruitment cycle and work with hiring managers across different locations (including the USA) to ensure were bringing on the best and making their start with us as smooth as can be.
What we're looking for:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or something related.
- Some solid years of HR experience, with a special focus on generalist responsibilities.
- A good grasp of HR laws and regulations, especially in Canada and other relevant areas.
- Top-notch communication skills.
- A knack for handling confidential stuff with the utmost discretion.
- CHRP or CHRL designation is a must!
- Experience with payroll? Even better!
