- Pay rate: $25 - $27 / hour
- Location: New Westminster, BC
- Shifts: 8 AM – 4 PM PST

- Help implement a new HR system
- Work with WorkSafe BC to ensure all health and safety rules are followed and implemented
- Perform general HR responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director to bring in new ideas and initiatives that continuously build and support our culture and programs
- Establish and maintain positive employee relations that reflect our people philosophy and policies
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal laws and regulations relating to employment standards, human rights, privacy legislation, and employment equity
- Coordinate disability claims with our benefits provider and assist with return-to-work plans for employees
- Maintain key documents or systems including the Employee Guide, Occupational Health & Safety Manual, Contractor Check and the Employment Equity submission
- Accurately manage and maintain the integrity of employee data, including organizational structure, transfers, promotions, and exits
- Assist with the analysis of P&C data, metrics, and information to foster business insights
- Participate in various people and culture initiatives including employee wellness, employee recognition, and diversity and inclusion
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related
- CPHR designation is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role
- Willingness to assist in implementing HR and Health and Safety Systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
