As the HR & Safety Specialist, you'll spend 4 days on-site at the Maple Ridge Production & Manufacturing facility and 1 day (can be flexible) in our Vancouver office. Your main objective will be to design a comprehensive Health and Safety program, ensuring a secure and engaging workplace.
- Guide, train, and coach leaders on employee relations and legislative matters.
- Implement HR programs, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and development.
- Manage HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) for the employee lifecycle.
- Enhance and maintain a harmonized Health and safety program across all Canadian locations.
- Deliver ongoing Health & Safety training and conduct investigations, inspections, and audits.
- Co-Chair Health & Safety Committees and manage WCB and disability claims.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline;
- 3+ years of HR Generalist/Advisor/Business Partner experience;
- 2+ years leading Health & Safety programs, preferably in construction, industrial, or manufacturing;
- Excellent coaching, conflict resolution, and communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
