Job Description
- Act as the first point of contact for HR support requests, such as, but not limited to policy/procedure interpretation, exit interviews and various employee relations issues and route to appropriate person/team.
- Prepare various administrative correspondences, which can include; employment letters, merit increase letters, bonus letters, new hire packages, STD correspondence and process employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating Human Resources information, processes and tools on intranet so that appropriate and up to date materials are available to our Community, ie: onboarding program, templates and other resources that support hospital operations.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the employee experience based on insights from data collected from a variety of sources
- Play a crucial role in data reporting and tracking, generating insightful reports to support decision making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection to ensure accuracy of HR databases
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners across the HR team
- Manage confidential files and other privileged information in a professional manner
- Support and act as a backup for HR Business Partner team in various areas as needed
- Post open jobs and manage the applicant pipeline for open positions related to Corporate
- Other duties as assigned
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience ideally in a corporate or retail environment.
- College diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through
- A commitment to continuous learning
- Flexible, adaptive, and responsive to change.
- Requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Technologically savvy, including proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- French speaking would be an asset.
