RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, configure and deploy laptops for employee onboarding (including OS installation and configuration for Windows, Mac and Linux).
- Create, configure and maintain accounts for GroupBy core systems (e.g. Office 365, Google Drive, Salesforce, Jira, etc.)
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting and maintenance for office network and phone systems
- Monitor and ensure employee laptops and company systems are up to date with compliance software requirements (e.g. antivirus, hard drive encryption).Provide hands on support to employees on laptop and software issues.
- Maintain hardware inventory and software list
- Complete offboarding activities for employees, including reclaiming laptops, archiving employee data, removing access to systems, disabling access and wiping laptops
- Create purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software
- Act as the primary owner of internal helpdesk system and first point of contact and triage lead for all internal IT issues (applications, hardware, software, network).Document and publish resolution to common IT issues
- Undertake small to medium sized IT projects as instructed by Operations and HR as you will work in close partnership with them
SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Self motivated and driven to delight others
- Familiar with these critical business systems: Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft 365, Google Drive/Gsuite, Google Workspace, Github, JIRA, Cloudflare / Domain management (DNS, SSL Certs and configs), Apple iOS, Windows (edited)
