The Opportunity:

The purpose of the Junior Accountant is to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable for all operating companies of triOS Corporation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Coding and entering accounts payable/expense invoices.
• Managing Accounts Payable inbox and handling vendor enquiries.
• Scheduling and processing payments of accounts payable.
• Filing of accounts payable.
• Processing payments by cheque, EFT, wire, credit cards.
• Maintaining spreadsheets and reconciling credit card transactions.
• Reconcile and process employee expense reports.
• Reconcile purchase orders with invoices.
• Process student refunds in ERP and in online banking portal.
• Administer corporate credit card program.
• Assisting with audit requirements at year end.
• Month end closing of payables and running reports.
• Scheduling vendor payments for approval by the Controller.
• Reconcile vendor statements to accounts payable sub ledgers.
• Assist other accounting team members.

What you bring to the position:

• High school graduate or College diploma in accounting or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Basic bookkeeping and mathematics skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Proficient in use of computerized accounting software and MS Office (Excel).
Strong communication skills.
