About the Opportunity
- Verify and check vendor invoices for accuracy
- Maintain accounts payable vendor files
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email
- Manage the accounts’ receivable function, including tracking and collecting payments from customers in a timely manner
- Prepare monthly reports on accounts receivable status and aging
- Communicate with customers to resolve any billing issues, discrepancies, or disputes
- Generates and submits invoices.
- Assist with month-end freight calculation & reporting
- Liaise with operations team and advise correct treatment for transaction(s) and various matters
- Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department
About You
- Bachelor or of Commerce in Accounting or equivalent
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in Freight Forwarding Industry an asset
- Solid verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Self-motivated, team player, results oriented
- Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

- Secondary School (preferred)
