Primary Objective of the Position:

Under the general direction of the Director, Fuel & Commercial Planning, the chosen candidate will ensure Fuel Department functions such as: De-icing Landing etc. are completed in a timely manner and audit all Fuel/De-ice/Landing Vendor Invoices documents to ensure accuracy.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Fuel and De-icing inventory reconciliations and reporting.
• Responsible for Monthly Profit and Loss statement Fuel Revenue and Cost Management.
• Prepare monthly fuel forecast for Cargojet Network flights.
• Prepare weekly and monthly Fuel Cost Analysis Report
• Assist in external reporting functions on Fuel Excise Tax to Revenue Canada.
• Work with external audit agencies on quarterly and annual on Fuel Audits.
• Coordinate with Hamilton Tank Farm and Keep up the Fuel Inventory and Customer Inventory up-to date.
• Prepare Annual Budget for Hamilton Tank Farm.
• Responsible for all Fuel and De-icing and Landing Invoice process as a key member of the Fuel Department.
• Maintain Glycol Inventory at Hamilton Base.
• Other functions assigned by Director of Fuel & Commercial Planning

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a qualified CPA or working towards the designation.
• 2-4 years progressive Accounting experience.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Power BI experience is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
• Must be a quick learner, detail-oriented, organized, responsible & results-oriented.
• Able to work well in a team environment
