Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a permanent Medical Office Assistant for a busy surgical practice located by Metrotown. We are an ENT, surgical oncologist practice. Our practice is about Ninety percent Cancer patients.

We are a very busy practice and will require someone who is organized, a great multi tasker, and who has good communication skills.. We have two surgeons that work in this office and we are a very fast paced clinic.

Our ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

• Can work well under pressure while maintaining calm and professional demeanor.
• Able to multitask efficiently and perform a variety of tasks in a timely manner.
• Candidate Must have a minimum one year experience in a Medical Office setting.
• Plexia EMR experience is required.
• Candidates should be able to manage their tasks independently while also working effectively with other staff.

Duties:

• Answering/triaging phone calls.
• File incoming faxes/File electronic scans.
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
• Data Entry.
• Triaging/Answering Emails- our clinic communicates heavily through Email.
• Assiting the Clinic Manager and your senior assistant with day to day tasks.

Full Time: 40 hrs/week -

Salary: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
