```Duties```
As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of a MEDICAL OFFICE. Your duties will include:
- Greeting and checking in patients at the front desk
- Scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar
- Answering phone calls and booking daily appointments
- Maintaining patient records and updating electronic medical records OSCAR EMR
- Assisting with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinating referrals to specialists and obtaining necessary authorizations
- Managing office supplies and inventory
- Assisting with basic medical procedures, such as taking vitals or preparing examination rooms

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in front desk operations, including managing phone systems and greeting patients
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with common medical procedures
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
