Medical Office Assistant

Our Medical and Dental clinic has been serving the community for the past 25 years, We are located in UBC, Wesbrook Village & we have a sister location on Campus.

```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area

```Skills```
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of Medical Office procedures
- Experience working at the front desk of a Medical Office
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 23 per week
