Medical Office Assistant (Part-Time Or Full-Time) - North Vancouver

We are looking to hire TWO Medical Office Assistants for our clinic in North Vancouver. You will be one of 3 Medical Office Assistants working. Key skills required for this job include strong work ethic, positive attitude, ability to learn on the job, excellent problem solving skills, time management skills, clear communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients as they arrive
• Data entry, maintain patient records, file and send electronic faxes
• Process correspondence including emails and faxes
• Arrange outpatient tests
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Coordinate schedules for two physicians

Qualifications

• Medical Office Assistant Certificate (not required but preferred)
• Prior experience in a Medical Office at least for more than 1 year is an asset but not required
• Familiarity with electronic medical record PLEXIA. Training provided if unfamiliar with this EMR
• Knowledge of Medical Office practices and terminology
• Effective oral and written communication
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters
• We require fluency in English. Any other added language skills is an assetBenefits:

Hours:

• 8:00-5pm, five days a week. One hour break for lunch - will consider both part time and full time applicants
• Start date: January 2024

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
