Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care? Surrey Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, & Massage is seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our vibrant team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly, ensuring a smooth check-in process while verifying essential information and insurance coverage.
• Manage appointments and keep our office calendar up-to-date, ensuring seamless coordination of patient visits.
• Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate staff member with professionalism and clarity.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Assist with billing procedures and insurance claims processing to ensure smooth financial transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to patient needs, offering support, and ensuring a positive experience during their visit.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments, ensuring continuity of patient care.
• Uphold a clean, organized waiting area, providing patients with a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the clinic at the end of each shift, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Manage various administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents efficiently.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a Medical Office setting or similar role preferred.
• Previous experience with Jane software preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively and maintain a hygienic environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $16.75-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 30 per week
