- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and stock supplies
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers as necessary
-Willingness to learn about skin care products and aesthetic treatments and may be considered for commission pay for sales.
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Familiarity with EMR software - OSCAR or medical software like it is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret and transcribe medical documentation accurately
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments for existing patients and referred patients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Strong customer service skills for providing exceptional patient care at the front desk
