Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist

Duties:

- Two days per week position, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience

- Following established protocols providing phototherapy treatment for patients
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about the Medical Office
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) system accurately

- Submitting billing to Medical Services Plan through EMR
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic area

Experience:
- Previous experience in a Medical Office or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential
- Proficiency in using front desk phone systems and other office equipment
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an asset
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy

The Medical Office Assistant plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to patients while supporting the smooth operation of the Medical Office. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, possess strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, exceptional attention to detail, and have a friendly demeanor.

Salary: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
