SalaryBusy, patient centered family physician clinic looking to add a bright & diligent MOA.
Must enjoy working with the public in a healthcare setting and be available for some Saturdays and some statutory holidays & covering maternity leave.
General Skills:
- Successful candidate will demonstrate thoughtfulness and compassion towards patients, be self directed and show initiative, be highly detail oriented and maintain a positive environment with colleagues.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills required and familiarity with medical software is an asset.
- Conversational Punjabi and previous experience working in a medical/physiotherapy clinic is preferred.
Specific Skills:
- Perform clerical duties such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, maintain inventory.
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
- Greet people and direct them to according to office protocols.
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Receive and issue payments, send invoices.
Salary to be discussed (i.e. experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
