Job Description
We are actively seeking a motivated student interested in gaining industry experience within our IT department as an IS Tech Support Associate. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the IS Manager, showcasing your ability to collaborate effectively, handle multiple tasks, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. The role involves a commitment of approximately 12 hours per week, with full-time hours during the summer. To be considered for this position, applicants must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary IT program.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
· Provide user support for mobile devices, laptops, desktop computers, and printers
· Complete Windows updates and maintenance
· Perform truck diagnostic application updates and maintenance
· Perform hardware troubleshooting and repairs
Employment Qualifications:
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows Server is essential
· Enrollment in post-secondary IT or Networking is necessary
· Ability to work well in a group environment
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check
· Good verbal communication that transfers to a customer focused work ethic is important
