Job description

Access Community Services Inc. is a non-profit agency funded by the Ministry of Children Community and Social Services supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

Position Summary: The Program Administrative Assistant role is ideal for a candidate with strong administrative and relationship building skills who will play an important role at Access Community Services Inc. The successful applicant will provide administrative and organizational support to the Executive Director or other members of the leadership team. A professional and competent manner, consistent with the mission, vision and values and operating standards of the agency are key to this role.

Qualifications: Post-secondary degree or diploma from an accredited institution in business administration preferred. The successful candidate will have proven administrative experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to this position.

Additional Qualifications: Ability to implement and monitor systems to improve work flow; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and social media platforms. Exceptional attention to detail, maintaining a high degree discretion and confidentiality. Time management skills and ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and an ability to learn quickly are expectations for this position.

Successful applicant will be required to submit proof of a current Criminal Reference Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, a valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract.

40 hours per week with occasional weekend or evening hours.

  • Administrative: 5 years (preferred)
