Job Description
Beaver County is on the lookout for a sharp, solution-driven Project Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team, focusing on ERP and Finance. In this dynamic role, reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services, you'll use your extensive project management skills to lead key initiatives, such as the adoption and implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, updating our finance and payroll systems.
You'll be responsible for managing the Questica Budget process and report generation for departments, including custom report setup and maintenance. Additionally, you'll spearhead the Data Management Project, introducing a new digital filing system.
This role demands strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners. Your tasks will range from data management and system maintenance to user training and enhancing stakeholder collaboration.
The ultimate goal is to elevate our ERP, Budget, and Data Management systems, boosting usability for end users, providing essential support, and equipping management with the tools they need for seamless business operations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge and proven experience with ERP Systems, preferably ERP Implementation end to end.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Admin., Accounting or equivalent.
• Background in Finance and budgeting, Questica an asset.
• CPA Designation or working towards it, an asset.
• 2+ years prior related experience as a Project Coordinator or manager in a cloud-based application and technology environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Proficient in computer skills (MS Office), SharePoint, Project Management Software, and a willingness to learn new technology, as needed.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practice.
• Proficient in ERP system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills, both in writing and speaking, coupled with the ability to deliver effective presentations across various functional groups.
• Personal initiative, the ability to work independently, and as a team-player.
• Leadership skills, ability to lead others including those in other areas of the business over which no direct authority exists.
• Exceptionally organized and detail-focused, with a proven ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to build a strong working relationship with County leadership and all County team members.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Position Type: Full Time - Two Year Term (with possibility of extension).
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Ryley, Alberta, or be willing to relocate to a nearby area before starting work (required).
• Salary: Based on skills and experience.
