Project Coordinator
Reports to: Senior Project Control Coordinator
Position term: Permanent full-time
Location: Main office in Leduc, Alberta
Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Project Control Coordinator, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting project planning and execution.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning and execution & personnel coordination
- Maintain high level of communication with field personnel, fulfilling service requests
- Assists the Project Managers and Senior Project Control Coordinator with project data entry and internal and external reporting
- Prepare quotes, change orders and requests for information
- Supports project teams in completion and submission of QC turnover packages
- Completes tracking and reporting of safety metrics
- Ensures employee time for projects is entered accurately
- Maintains and orders material, tools and safety supplies for site and stock
- Assist project teams by performing various support tasks (safety equipment & rental vehicle pickup and drop-off, and occasional material site run)
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff going to site
- Assist Finance with the issuance of purchase orders and project billing
- Assist HR with new hire process and onboarding for field employees
- Managing assets and supplies
- Other tasks as required or assigned
- Safety is everyone's responsibility, and you are responsible to look out for yourself and those around you
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business or administration would be an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

- Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service skills
- Advance skills in Microsoft word, excel, and other office programs
- Ability to make decisions and problem solve in a complex environment

Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods and ensure proper ergonomics
- Ability to work at a computer station for long periods
- Ability to lift and bend
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Leduc, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Salary: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
