Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The Office Administrator will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be proficient in computerized systems, and have experience working in a dental office environment.
Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Greet patients and provide them with information needed and direct them in their next steps
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Organize and schedule appointments for patients, meetings, and events with our Windsor location when necessary
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, file management and weekly bank deposits
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and offices we work with
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is required; candidates will not be contacted if you do not have at least 1 year of administrative work experience
- Proficient in computerized systems such as Tracker, AbleDent, or any dental software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of dental office procedures is required; candidates will not be contacted if you do not have at least 1 year of dental office experience
