Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, Days and on-call, schedule as per operational requirements
Location: Bruderheim, AB – 570079 Range Rd 204, non-camp position, required to live in the area, approximately 12 km north of Bruderheim on Range Road 204
Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions
Requirements:
- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
- Clean Driver’s Abstract, Valid Driver’s License (non GDL)
Pre-employment:
- Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
- Mask Fit Testing
- Baseline Testing (respiratory)
Safety CoordinatorResponsibilities:
- Provide support, direction, and training to supervisors and employees.
- Prepare and attend safety meetings.
- Perform safety coaching opportunities in the field.
- Coordinate and carry out prompt investigations of workplace incidents.
- Assist in conducting formal and informal safety audits.
- Generate incident reports and hazard assessments, and provide recommendations and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings and initiatives.
- Use of online safety database system to file site safety documents.
- This position may include short travel, depending on projects.
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Safety CoordinatorQualifications:
- Detailed knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Experience working in an active plant setting.
- Must have good understanding of Industrial Hygiene, especially with Silica.
- Must have the ability to perform ASCA audit.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be a team player.
