Position Overview:
Glow Day Spa is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their visit to our spa is a seamless and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients with a warm and friendly demeanor ensuring smooth functionality of front desk traffic by warmly greeting incoming guests and booking return visits upon departure.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about our services.
- Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accuracy in service details and payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area ensuring the spa is in high performance condition at all times
- Assist clients in filling out intake forms and updating their information as needed.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with spa staff to coordinate appointments and manage the daily schedule.
- Achieve quality booking, consultation and transaction experience in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in retail sales of spa products and gift certificates.
- Maintain knowledge of spa services, promotions, and pricing.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and handling email correspondence.
- Adhere to spa policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and safety.
- Produce EOD procedural reports such as executing the systems close-out process and spa housekeeping duties.
- Educate guests on new services and promotional recommendations.
- Collaborate with the team in preparation of party and events
- Maintain inventory of, retail products and stock of all reception and marketing materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using appointment scheduling software.
- Knowledge of the spa and wellness industry is a plus.
- Smart Serve is required or you are willing to obtain a certificate if hired.
- Ability to work evenings and Saturdays until 3pm.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing for sustained periods of time.
- May require lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in implementing spa services.
