Community Living Chatham-Kent provides support and services for people who have diverse abilities and to assist them to achieve their personal goals, facilitate relationships, enhance skill development and build social roles within their community.

Community Living Chatham-Kent is a progressive, people-oriented agency currently seeking a dynamic and self motivated person for the position of:

VOLUNTEER AND EVENTS COORDINATOR

This position will include co-ordination, planning, organization, and implementation of activities of special events. This position will also monitor and maintain an effective volunteer base. The supervisor will establish and maintain a liaison role with various groups, and the community at large for the purpose of soliciting community participation. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills while making a difference in the lives of people who have diverse abilities.

The ideal candidate will have post secondary education in public relations, journalism, marketing or related disciplines with experience in public relations, volunteer coordination, event planning, and fundraising. In addition, must possess strong computer skills including social media and website content management, excellent oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Salary: $28.79-$30.20 per hour
