Panolam Industries International, Inc. manufactures high-pressure decorative laminates, thermofused melamine panels, fiberglass-reinforced plastics, and a variety of specialty laminates for decorative as well as industrial applications.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator for our Huntsville, Ontario facility. This position will serve a critical role to our finance team and is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, hard-working individual looking to learn and grow!

Responsibilities Include:

• Must review applicable work instructions
• Provide accurate record keeping and maintain an accurate filing system for all Accounts Payable
• Maintain accurate accounting records and general Accounts Payable records
• Sort vendor invoices and packing slips daily for processing.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets for accounting purposes
• Prepare and submit wire transfer requests to Corporate as required
• Reception duties (greet visitors, answer phone, prepare and sort mail for taxi pick-up)
• Daily processing and sorting of woodfiber slips
• Processing and creation of woodfiber statements twice per month
• Arrange bank deposits
• Research any items in question and report findings to supervisor or person inquiring
• Assist in annual audits as needed
• Support internal and external vendors
• Operate a personal computer
• Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with staff
• Pay close attention to detail, schedules, and accounting principals
• Maintain complete confidentiality of company financial data
• Establish effective working relationships with vendors
• Work in a safe and effective manner
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• Computer skills with High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Must be a good communicator (oral and written), possess professional telephone skills and have a courteous disposition.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent data entry skills.
• High degree of organization.
• Good time-management skills.
