The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for efficiently managing payables, maintaining organized file systems, handling reception duties, reconciling payments, and processing vendor payments with precision.
Role and Accountability:

• Manage Accounts Payable processes, including receiving, reviewing, and processing vendor invoices.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date file systems for invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
• Handle reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries to appropriate departments.
• Reconcile payments with invoices and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Process vendor payments in a timely manner, adhering to payment terms and company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable processes and software, including FAMOUS.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with payment reconciliation and vendor management preferred.
• Familiarity with FAMOUS is an asset.

Salary: $55,000 Annually
