Acushnet Canada Inc., home to the leading brands in golf – Titleist and FootJoy – has an exciting 12 month contract opportunity for an Accounts Payable Coordinator.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments, account distribution, and proper documentation of all invoices and liabilities. This position reports to the Controller.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Audit and match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports and resolve any discrepancies.
- GL coding and data entry of A/P supplier invoices/debit memos/check requests/rebates/employee expense accounts.
- Prepare cheques, EFT and wire transfers for payment of supplier invoices including intercompany payments.
- Analyze open invoices to establish monthly accruals, reconcile accounts, and complete month end procedures for posting A/P entries to the general ledger.
- Maintain files for supplier invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
- Follow-up with purchasers/buyers for approval of supplier invoices.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- University Degree or College Diploma in accounting/business or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ Accounts Payable experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience with an ERP system an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
