Accounts Receivable Administrator

Key Job Duties:

• Post Customer Invoices And Adjustment Transactions To Journals, Ledgers And Other Records
• Deposit Customer Cheques Via Remote Deposit Capture
• Process All Cash Receipts Through AR And GL
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable Transactions
• Prepare Analysis Of Accounts, Research And Resolve Billing Discrepancies And Issues
• Maintain Customer Files
• Correspond With Customers, Respond to Inquiries, And Make Collections Calls As Necessary
• Produce Monthly Reports
• Assist With Month End Closing
• Provide Supporting Documentation for Audits
• Maintain Accurate Historical Records
• Maintain Confidentiality
• Support Manager of Finance and Other Departments As Required
• Other Related Duties as Required

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or related discipline, or combination of education and related work experience.
• Experience with Accounts Payables and/or bookkeeping.
• Previous experience in construction an asset.
• Previous experience working with First Nations an asset.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of accounting procedures.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and a manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
• Proficient in English and MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised in a Team environment.
• High degree of professionalism
• Ability to maintain Company integrity through confidentiality and discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
