Key Job Duties:
- Post Customer Invoices And Adjustment Transactions To Journals, Ledgers And Other Records
- Deposit Customer Cheques Via Remote Deposit Capture
- Process All Cash Receipts Through AR And GL
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable Transactions
- Prepare Analysis Of Accounts, Research And Resolve Billing Discrepancies And Issues
- Maintain Customer Files
- Correspond With Customers, Respond to Inquiries, And Make Collections Calls As Necessary
- Produce Monthly Reports
- Assist With Month End Closing
- Provide Supporting Documentation for Audits
- Maintain Accurate Historical Records
- Maintain Confidentiality
- Support Manager of Finance and Other Departments As Required
- Other Related Duties as Required
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or related discipline, or combination of education and related work experience.
- Experience with Accounts Payables and/or bookkeeping.
- Previous experience in construction an asset.
- Previous experience working with First Nations an asset.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and a manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficient in English and MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised in a Team environment.
- High degree of professionalism
- Ability to maintain Company integrity through confidentiality and discretion
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
