Aqua-Coast Engineering is looking for an Accountant to manage our financial transactions, including Accounts Receivable and payroll responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, possess excellent organizational skills, and be proficient in using Sage software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable: including invoicing, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Manage payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and taxes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the finance department in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Process 200-300 detailed invoices each month
- Proactively monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, implementing collection strategies as needed to minimize outstanding balances.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
