Accounts Receivable

Aqua-Coast Engineering is looking for an Accountant to manage our financial transactions, including Accounts Receivable and payroll responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, possess excellent organizational skills, and be proficient in using Sage software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable: including invoicing, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts.
• Manage payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and taxes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Support the finance department in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Process 200-300 detailed invoices each month
• Proactively monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, implementing collection strategies as needed to minimize outstanding balances.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
