We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Victoria Marriott. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the hotel's receivables, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices for hotel services rendered, including room charges, event bookings, and other miscellaneous charges.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable records with the hotel's financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up with clients/guests to ensure timely payment. Implement collection strategies when necessary to minimize overdue accounts.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients/guests by providing excellent customer service and addressing any billing inquiries or disputes promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and present regular reports on Accounts Receivable status, aging analysis, and collection efforts to management.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all Accounts Receivable transactions, correspondence, and agreements.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience (2+ years) in Accounts Receivable or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and billing processes is a plus.
