Accounts Receivable Clerk

ISA International is a leading furniture manufacturer located close to the intersection of Lawrence and Dufferein Street , Toronto. We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to assist within our accounting department.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• maintain up-to-date billing system
• generate and send out invoices
• follow up on, collect and allocate payments
• perform account reconciliations
• monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• research and resolve payment discrepancies
• maintain Accounts Receivable customer files and records
• follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc
• process credit card payments
• prepare bank deposits
• investigate and resolve customer queries
• communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
• assist with month-end closing

What You Need to Succeed:

• 1+ year of Accounts Receivable and/or accounting experience
• experience with Sage 300 or AccPac
• excellent Excel skills
• bookkeeping experience is an asset
• high degree of accuracy
• great attention to detail
• ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• problem-analysis and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
