Key Responsibilities:
- Always report before or on time for shift schedules.
- Welcome and assist visitors, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Manage telephone and electronic inquiries, relay messages, and handle mail from couriers.
- Coordinate the internal flow of information, including electronic mail and other materials.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
- Establish and implement office procedures to ensure efficiency.
- Input, edit, and proofread various documents from machine dictation and handwritten copy.
- Maintain both manual and computerized filing systems for information.
- Support employee onboarding by verifying and uploading accurate paperwork using designated software.
- Provide new hires with lockers, mailboxes, and cubicles during orientation.
- Compile data, statistics, and information for the Health & Safety Department.
- Order office supplies and manage inventory.
- Proactively anticipate the needs of others to enhance their overall experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Experience:
- Previous experience in administrative support, or a related field is desirable.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with colleagues, vendors, and transporters.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
