Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in clerical and sales office settings, possess excellent customer service skills, and be proficient in various office tasks such as filing, typing, and customer support. Knowledge of office phone systems, computerized systems, and Sage is also required. A knowledge of cedar building products is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the team by handling phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Maintain and update files, records, and databases
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with billing and invoicing using Sage Accounting Software
- Organize cross border and international shipping, including customs brokerage
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
Experience:
- Previous experience in a clerical or sales office setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems and software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Sage Accounting Software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
