The Manager, Debt and Accounts Receivable provides leadership for the complex Accounts Receivable and Debt Management portfolios. This role provides financial expertise to Ministry management, executive, and stakeholders; manages the portfolio's financial planning and reporting services; manages the administration of recovery of income assistance debts owed to the Ministry including the review and approval of requests for civil litigation related to these debts.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant advanced financial experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a union environment.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- a degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA).
- debt management experience as related to pursuit of debt owed to the Province.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
