Ginkgo Business Services is looking to Hire a full-time Bookkeeper for Monday to Friday.
As Bookkeeper, you will:
- Maintaining budgets and records.
- Preparing invoices for customers and external partners and keeping track of payments.
- Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies.
- Creating and updating expense reports.
- Checking spreadsheets for accuracy.
- Preparing financial statements.
- Tracking and reconciling bank statements.
- Processing annual tax filings.
- Supporting payroll and keeping organized records.
- Recording/maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Supporting operations and administrations department, as needed.
- Participating in quarterly and annual audits.
Technical Experience Requirements:
- Minimum post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-3 or + years of work experience in Accounting or Finance (e.g. experience in accounts payable, payroll, and financial analysis).
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel (creating spreadsheets using functions).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented perspective.
- Proven mathematical skills.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently located and permitted to work in Canada
- Able to commit to a fixed weekly schedule
- Able to work independently, yet document all work performed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
