Delph & Jenkins North Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions using QuickBooks.
- Record and reconcile expenses, invoices, and receipts.
- Prepare and process payroll in compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in general office tasks, including answering phones, handling mail, and organizing files.
- Provide administrative support to management and surveying teams.
- Maintain an organized and efficient office environment.
Compliance:
- Stay informed about relevant tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all financial activities adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper using QuickBooks.
- Previous administrative or office support experience is an asset.
Skills:
- Proficient in using QuickBooks for financial management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Availability:
- The ability to work part-time hours, approximately 15-20 hours per week.
