Job Summary

RoadSafetyBC is the lead provincial agency for road safety and is responsible for setting strategic direction and establishing a provincial approach to road safety throughout British Columbia. RoadSafetyBC regulates drivers and operates a number of programs to help regulate the safe and responsible operation of motor vehicles in B.C.
This positions provides assistance and administrative support including recruitment support and guidance regarding the correct interpretation of human resource management policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
  • Certificate or coursework in Human Resources or a related field, and 6 (six) months *related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

*Related experience must include the following:
  • 6 (six) months of experience working in a professional office environment.
  • 6 (six) months of experiencing using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 6 (six) months of experience assisting with human resource administrative tasks, specifically handling confidential information, filing documentation, and verifying information.

Preference may be given to applicants with:
  • Additional years of experience in any of the above requirements.
  • Experience using the My Time & Pay management system.
  • Experience scheduling meetings in Outlook calendars.
  • Experience assisting with virtual presentations.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
