The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to learn. The Entry-Level/Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable functions, collaborating with teams, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Help maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Employment Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (English proficiency can be lower if Filipino is your primary language).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required.
