Job Overview:
A busy Real Estate Brokerage is seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our Goderich office location to cover a maternity leave. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a maternity coverage position at this time. Local to Goderich and knowledge of the area is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area as well as keeping the office functional neat and clean and presentable to public and clients coming in
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient office operations
-Follow company policies and procedures for all tasks involved including advertising and social media presence
-Confidentiality is of utmost importance
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
-Computer experience a benefit but training would be provided on all software programs used to run the day to day activities for the office

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Salary: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
