About Us:

Inquiring Little Minds (ILM) was founded in September 2011. The Saltair Childcare Society (SCS) and ILM work together in a private-public partnership (a long-term arrangement between a government institution and a private sector institution). We also work in partnerships with the City of Port Alberni, Cowichan Valley School District, Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools, and Saltair Community Society.

ILM facilities are dedicated to the provision of safe, well-managed childcare services for children that are provided by full and part-time, qualified staff. ILM's goal is to stimulate emotional growth, independent growth, intellectual growth, physical growth, and social growth amongst its charges.

Primary duties:

A Human Resources Assistant, also known as an HR Assistant (or Human Resource Assistant), is a vital position that supports the overall employee experience and ensures legal compliance. A Human Resources Assistant manages the day-to-day HR functions like the following:

· Employee application process (Full cycle recruitment)

· Employee Relation Management

· New employee orientation

· Payroll and timekeeping records

· Record maintenance

· Reviewing performance evaluations and other reports

· Employee recognition and rewards

· Traveling to different ILM centers depending on the business needs (from Ladysmith to Victoria). Travel expenses are covered by the organization

Employment Type: Full Time (8:30AM - 4:30PM)

Work Type: In person (Not a remote setup)
