JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

JF Fabrics Inc is a leading wholesaler and distributer of home decorative fabrics, trim, drapery hardware and wallpaper. We are hiring a full time, on-site Junior Accountant

**Note this role contains some accounts payable responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly and adjusting journal entries
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform expense analyses
• Assist with annual financial audit
• Match, code, verify and post vendor invoices
• Resolve discrepancies and reconcile vendor statements
• Filing and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent is required
• Working towards the CPA designation considered an asset
• A minimum of 1 year of accounts payable/accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication, time management, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills

Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

• Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
