Geoswift is an innovative payment technology/Fintech company that connects China to the rest of the world. After years of rapid growth, Geoswift has now further expanded and becomes the cross-border transaction specialist and market innovator, providing frictionless payments flow from regions to regions. We are headquartered in Hong Kong and Vancouver, with operating offices in Shanghai, London, Singapore, and San Francisco for strategic and regulatory functions.
Now we are looking for a Junior Accountant for our office in downtown Vancouver. This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping
- Perform month-end reconciliation for all accounts, including all accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Independently prepare and manage financial reports
- Ensure compliance with local legal requirements by studying requirements and enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on necessary actions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and SkillsRequirements
- Good command of English and Mandarin (spoken & written)
- A degree/diploma with a focus in accounting or business administration
- At least 1-2 years experience in accounting / bookkeeping
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Expert proficiency in Excel
- Experience with accounting software
- Strong attention-to-detail, with a high degree of accuracy and reliability
- Proven ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects.

Salary: Up to $50,000.00 per year
