B&G sources as much of its menu from out East as possible to bring you tasteful tributes, genuine flavors and all the classics! From the OG Halifax Donair and Garlic Fingers, to the Mini Lobster Rolls and Chips, it’s all washed down with your choice of craft beer or cocktails. B&G was founded by a group of passionate Canadians with a bold vision: to salute the spirited roots of Halifax with fellow Maritimers and share this beloved experience of food, drink, music and culture with the rest of Canada.

Line Cook:

• Maintaining a clean space, especially in view of guests.
• Demonstrate food safe understanding and adherence.
• Work quickly and efficiently.
• Responsible for nightly closes which include daily/weekly cleaning duties, prepping equipment for close, and ensuring the kitchen is ready for morning open.
• Communicate between shifts and with managers and teammates
• Maintain great communication with FOH to ensure service is smooth
• Have a passion for great food and real ingredients.
• Prep/Cook food that is genuine and of a high-quality
• Take responsibility for food quality and presentation of everything leaving the kitchen.
• Ability to cook large amounts of food for dine in service as well as take out
• Have a passion for providing East Coast Food & Hospitality!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Cooking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
