Group practice with 7 physicians. We are professional, supportive, and collaborative. Physicians work in both hospital and office settings.

Medical Office Assistant

Duties:

- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments

-Schedule endoscopy procedures for two physician practices
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain electronic medical records and update patient information as necessary
- Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

-Work in collaboration with other MOAs in the office

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in Medical Office administration is a plus
- Previous experience working in a Medical Office or similar administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems (Accuro experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial but not required
