You will be one of 2 receptionist/office administrators for our busy Oakville clinic.
We are looking for someone with strong work ethic, positive attitude, ability to learn on the job, excellent problem solving and time management skills, clear communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Medical Office setting is required
- Effective oral and write communication
- Familiarity with electronic medical record Telus PS Suite is preferred
- Proficient in working in a digital environment
- Knowledge of Medical Office practices and terminology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients as they arrive
- Answer phone and manage patient queries
- Data entry, maintain patient records, file and send electronic faxes
- Process correspondence including emails and faxes
- Arrange outpatient tests and specialists' appointments
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Coordinate schedules for two physicians
- Order office supplies and vaccines
