Medical Office Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments using EMR PS Suite
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing excellent customer service
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up on patient care as needed
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as PS Suite
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Experience working with phone systems and handling patient inquiries

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 – 30 per week
