About Us: We are a small and dedicated family practice medical clinic located in the heart of Kitchener, committed to providing quality healthcare services to our community. Our team is looking for a dynamic, experienced and organized Medical Office Administrator (MOA) to join us on a part-time basis.
Job Description: As a Part-Time Medical Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Managing patient appointments and maintaining the appointment schedule.
- Handling patient inquiries and phone calls.
- Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
- Coordinating with medical staff and assisting with administrative tasks.
- Managing clinic supplies and inventory.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of MOA experience in a walk-in clinic or family practice clinic setting in Ontario (no exceptions).
- Minimum one (1) year EMR experience (preferably Avaros, however training can be provided).
- Must have own reliable transportation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule:
- Part-time position, approx. 3 to 4 days per week, generally between 8:30am and 4:30pm (flexible days, to be discussed during interview).
