Join our Portable Power division team in Valleyview, AB as Operations Assistant. You will be responsible for administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the necessary personnel within the Portable Power operations.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with billings and accounts payables;
- Ensure start and stop jobs in RTMS;
- Answering incoming calls or greeting customers in person and provide direction and/or assistance as required;
- Act as the primary contact for employee benefit and administrative concerns for the location;
- Provide assistance to the group in assembling rental, service and repair quotes. Assist supervisors and managers to provide cost of work estimates and to assemble required reports;
- Provide assistance to the group with Sales Orders and Purchase Orders as needed;
- Receive and send mail, email, faxes, and courier packages;
- Ensure work tickets are billed correctly;
- Type and distribute information; organize and maintain filing systems; prioritize and annotate mail;
- Verify and enter information into the database and generate and create reports as requested;
- Complete timekeeping tasks on a weekly basis;
- Assist HSE with posting safety alerts, entering and filing safety documents, as well as coordinating and assisting with safety meetings;
- Arrange and coordinate safety ticket courses for personnel;
- Serve as the liaison between the supervisors, managers and other company personnel by relaying messages and instructions;
- Schedule appointments and maintain an activity calendar if required;
- Arrange business itineraries and coordinate travel requirements for all staff and visiting customers when required;
- Prepare materials and information for projects and/or meetings;
- Order and maintain office supplies;
- Perform other work related tasks as required/assigned;
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
Competencies Required:
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience) :
- Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent;
- Previous experience in an Administrative role is an asset;
- Experience with accounts payable and billings.
Technical Requirements ( software or program knowledge needed ):
- Knowledge and experience with databases;
- Microsoft Office & Outlook knowledge an asset.
