Part Time Medical Office Receptionist

Focus Physio + Wellness is busy multi-disciplinary clinic located in Vancouver's Olympic Village. We are a team of physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, and kinesiologists looking for two organized and detail-oriented people to work reception at our practice. The ideal candidates would be friendly, personable, and self-motivated individuals who are able to work well independently and as team members. We are looking for people with great communication skills who can support our day-to-day clinic operations. Experience with Jane App software is an asset.

Set hours: Monday and Tuesday 7am -3pm; Monday and Thursday 1pm-7:30pm (potential for increased hours an option)

Start date: mid April, 2024

Job responsibilities include:

• Assisting clients and answering the phone
• Responding to client and administrative emails in a timely manner
• Liasing with the Medical Office Assistant team
• Managing client bookings with Jane software
• Billing extended healthcare plans and ICBC
• Processing payments
• Corresponding with adjustors and lawyers
• Coordinating approval for ICBC claims
• Practitioner communication and support
• Re-stocking treatment rooms
• Closing the clinic
